Colorful Kitchens
Although white is still the standard go-to when it comes to kitchen cabinets, more and more homeowners are incorporating pops of color into the heart of the home! From bold islands to two-toned cabinets, we’re seeing more color in 2023! Shades of blue and green are popular kitchen cabinet colors without being obnoxious. Patterned backsplashes and statement hardware are also well-loved!
Ceiling-High Cabinets
Speaking of kitchens, ceiling-high cabinets are often requested in new builds. After all, why not maximize the vertical space in your home? Not only do ceiling-high cabinets offer additional storage, but they also make the space look larger!
Amazing Pantries
Who would have thought pantries would have become such an essential part of a home? In 2023, expect over-the-top butler’s pantries with walk-in storage solutions. Many pantries even have outlets, sinks, and appliances! If you love to entertain, definitely consider adding an extra dishwasher to your pantry!
Wide Plank Flooring
Wood floors are still in, but with a twist! Wide planks are more in demand than thinner varieties. Light-colored floors are still a preferred choice, as they make a home feel larger and don’t appear as dirty as darker alternatives.

When it comes to staircases, modern railings are preferred in 2023. For example, black iron railings with modern spindles create a clean and elevated look. Plus, they are easy to clean and dust. Not to mention, more scratch-resistant than traditional wood railings!

Funky light fixtures are definitely a conversation piece! If you want to add character to a space, definitely go for a bold light fixture!
