Alternatively, if you are looking to build, we strive to make the construction process as easy and painless as possible! Below are the steps that we take in building your new construction home. From the time we break ground on your project, your home can be move-in ready in as little as six months! In summary, when you build with Hearthside Homes you get to choose from one of our expertly designed floor plans and then choose all the material selections at our Design Center in Liberty, MO! From paint to flooring, hardware, and more, you’ll have a blast customizing your home to your unique preferences!
Our Home Building Process
Stage #1: Pre-Construction: Our team will start by creating plans for your home. Here you will choose which floor plan suits you best!
Stage #2: Design Selections: In the next step, you will be meeting with a professional interior designer. This individual will help you select the details for your new home at our very own Design Center!
Stage #3: Appliances: Then, you will meet with our appliance experts to finalize your choices for your new kitchen, and you will also pick out fixtures and lighting during this stage.
Stage #4: Cabinetry: Next, if you want customized cabinetry, you will head to Miller’s Custom Cabinets. Here you will decide on the details and style for your cabinets. This also includes a tour of the shop if you want!
Stage #5: Pre-Drywall Orientation: Then, it will already be time to meet with the construction team on the job! In this stage, you will take a look at the progress of your house. Framing, heating and cooling ducts, and plumbing and electrical work will be evaluated here!
Stage #6: Build Check: Next, you will get to see your decisions from earlier showcased in your new home! You can check on how the progress of the home is going and more details will be added to your home.
Stage #7: Punch Period: Punch period is the inspection stage! From the mechanical components to the finishing touches and details, our construction team will inspect everything and make sure to fix any issues that there might be before the final closing day!
Stage #8: Home Orientation: Finally, you will walk through the house with the construction team and make sure you understand how everything works and that everything is up to your standards. Your homeowner’s manual will make its way to you in this stage!
Stage #9: Closing Day: Yay we did it! On closing day you will stop at your new home and make sure everything’s completed. You will grab the closing papers and the keys, and then you will be named a homeowner!
Stage #10: Warranty Check: Our work will continue! After you move in, we are available to you if any issues should arise with our warranty.
Hearthside Homes understands that many people don’t have the time to wait six months for their dream home to be built, so we offer move-in-ready spec homes as well as our new construction homes to lighten up the above steps. Our spec homes make the process shorter and easier for your family. Our design and construction teams work very hard to make sure that all of our spec homes are on-trend and stunning. The spec homes are built with the same care that the new construction homes are built with. Our teams will choose the designs and details based on what is practical and beautiful, and those interested in purchasing can walk through different builds and find the home of their dreams!
