Everything You Need To Know About The New Hawthorn Floor Plan!
Yippie! We love announcing new floor plans. At Hearthside Homes, our mission is to create beautiful and long-lasting homes. We pride ourselves on creating homes that are functional. As we listen to the feedback from our buyers, we are able to modify previous plans. After all, we love improving the functionality of our homes to meet our buyer’s needs and wants! The Hawthorn floor plan has it all and we think that it is going to be a go-to choice for our homeowners. We hope you love it as much as we do!
Room For Everyone
One of the most exciting components of this floor plan is the amount of space that there is! This floor plan has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, an office, a loft area, and a 3-car garage. Homeowners will love the fabulous kitchen, walk-in pantry, and built-in wine station. There’s also the option to add a large covered deck or patio!
Layout Overview
Upon entering the foyer, you’ll find a flex room, powder bathroom and coat closet. The flex room has double french doors and would make a great office or playroom.
Also on the main floor, is a beautiful fireplace and a stellar kitchen with a huge island. In between the dining area you’ll find a built-in wine rack and a large covered deck (optional upgrades). Entering the 3-car garage, you’ll be greeted by a built-in drop-zone in the laundry room. Drop-zones are great storage solutions that allow quick access to everyday items without creating clutter throughout the living space. These are particularly great for storing coats, shoes, purses, briefcases and backpacks.
The Hawthorn kitchen is definitely a showstopper! Homeowners will love the range hood and pendant lights above the island. Also on the main floor, you’ll find a beautiful master suite. The master bathroom has two separate vanities, a private water closet, and a walk-in shower with a built-in bench and two shower heads!
A large window, located by the staircase, lets in a ton of natural light. Upstairs, you’ll find 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, homework station, and a loft space. All of the bedrooms have spacious closets. The loft area would make a great playroom or movie theater!
Storage Space
There’s also a ton of storage space in the Hawthorn. When building this floor plan, homeowners have the option to build the basement finished or unfinished. Both options definitely have perks! A finished basement would be great for entertaining friends and family. A lot of our homeowners build finished basements with kitchenettes. As you can imagine, these kitchenettes come in handy on game day! You could also finish the basement to add an extra bedroom, office space and bathroom.
Unfinished basements are often just as practical as finished ones are. After all, unfinished basements make great storage spaces for miscellaneous equipment and seasonal decorations. Not to mention, kids love playing in unfinished basements!
A 3-car garage comes standard with the Hawthorn plan. Other storage in this home includes plenty of cabinetry in the kitchen as well as a drop-zone in the laundry room.
