About Our Build Process
If you want to build a home with us, below are the steps we follow! You can also click here for more information about our headache-free process.
Stage #1: Pre-Construction: Choose a floor plan and a lot you love! We offer a wide array of different floor plans, ranging from 2 story, 1.5 story, reverse, ranch, and split style! Click here to learn more about the communities we build in.
Stage #2: Design Selections: In the next step, you’ll meet with a professional interior designer from our Design Center in Liberty, MO. You’ll love picking out all the details of your beautiful new home!
Stage #3: Appliances: Then, you will meet with our appliance experts to go over the choices for your kitchen. You’ll also select light fixtures during this stage.
Stage #4: Cabinetry: Most of our clients pick their cabinets at our Design Center. Some customers have special requests which require a visit to the manufacturer, Miller’s Custom Cabinets.
Stage #5: Pre-Drywall Orientation: Before you know it, it will be time to meet with our construction team. In this stage, you will take a look at the progress on framing, heating and cooling ducts, and plumbing/electrical rough-in work!
Stage #6: Build Check: Next, you will see your decisions from earlier in the process come to life! More details will be added to your home, and you can check in on the progress.
Stage #7: Punch Period: This is the inspection stage! From the mechanical components to the finishing touches, our construction team will inspect all elements and correct any issues that there may be before the closing day!
Stage #8: Home Orientation: Finally, you will walk through the house with the team and make sure you are comfortable with how everything works, as well as receive your new homeowner’s manual.
Stage #9: Closing Day: We did it! You will stop at the home and make sure everything’s completed, and pick up the closing papers and keys. You are now officially a homeowner!
Stage #10: Warranty Check: Our work doesn’t stop on closing day. After you move in, we are available to you if any issues should arise during our 1-year warranty! We stand behind our work!
