Deeper Look at Chapel Ridge
Location
Chapel Ridge is located in Parkville, MO, “just north of 45 Hwy, and Northwest Hampton Road on Union Chapel Rd, nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of southern Platte County.” We’ll discuss the Park Hill School District, as well as nearby entertainment, shortly, but it’s important to note that the city of Parkville has consistently grown in recent years. Just like the rest of the Northland, this is becoming a popular area for anyone looking to find their forever home!
School District
This community is located in the Park Hill School District and feeds into the following schools: Union Chapel Elementary, Lakeview Middle School, and Park Hill High School. The Park Hill School District is routinely recognized for academic excellence. While there are a number of barometers to prove this point, one glaring sign is the sheer number of awards given to their educators and staff members year in and year out. I would certainly say these are schools that take their education seriously and put their students in position to succeed after high school!
A second factor we take a look at is a school district’s mission statement. As stated on their official website, their mission is “Through the expertise of an engaged staff, the Park Hill School District provides a relevant education in a safe, caring environment to prepare each student for success in life.” All in all, a perfect foundation to get your kiddos from first grade through senior year in their educational career.
Community Amenities
Particularly in 2020, where new communities are being developed with all kinds of perks, it’s important to have community-specific amenities for residents. For homeowners, these are great ways to provide some entertainment value without having to leave the comfort of your neighborhood. In Chapel Ridge, a few favorites amongst residents include two neighborhood swimming pools, a clubhouse, fishing ponds, walking trails and easy access to major highways!
What All is Nearby?
As briefly mentioned earlier, the Northland has become a booming market for prospective home buyers in recent years. With that being the case, you’ll have no shortage of shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities when living in Chapel Ridge. For a little bit of each of those, you’re roughly 10 minutes away from Zona Rosa and 15 minutes from the Legends at Village West. Whether you’re looking to spend a weekend day shopping or just want to grab a bite to eat, both of these areas can solve those needs!
Reaching the airport will be a breeze, as KCI is also just 15 minutes away! In terms of recreational activities, you’re close by the Platte County Community Center, The Springs Aquatic Center, Barry Woods 24 AMC Theater and so much more! In conclusion, you certainly won’t have to worry about any lack of activities available.
