The Hillsdale: A New Floor Plan For Hearthside Homes!
Hey friends! We are so beyond excited to share with you our new Hillsdale floor plan! Inspired by the infamous Chandler ll, this layout has been revamped! At Hearthside Homes, we listen to our customers and take their feedback and suggestions seriously. Although the Chandler ll is a great floor plan in itself, the new Hillsdale will address some modifications that have been requested over the years. We’re super excited to share this new 1.5 story floor plan with you all!
For those of you who are stumbling across our blog for the first time, welcome to Hearthside Homes! We are so thrilled to have you here. Since 1987, we’ve been building long-lasting homes. Features At A Glance
You’re going to love the spacious, open-concept layout that this home offers. With 3020 of finished square footage, this home has plenty of room for a family! This 1.5 story home has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. On the main floor, you’ll find a kitchen, breakfast nook, entertainment room or flex space, master suite, drop zone, and laundry room. The drop zone is a storage solution that is strategically placed within reach of the garage door. It helps keep everyday items such as shoes, purses, backpacks, and coats organized. Not to mention, this storage system helps prevent clutter throughout the home! The laundry room in itself is spacious and can be built with a folding table, a drying rod, and storage cabinets.
Hardwood is included throughout the foyer, kitchen, breakfast room, garage entry, ½ bath, entertainment room, and great room. Additionally, this home can be built with either a Craftsman or Modern Prairie exterior. Whatever unique style you prefer, Hearthside Homes can help you customize the space to be uniquely yours! The Hillsdale kitchen is spacious and offers a ton of storage. The u-shaped set up provides an abundance of cabinetry. Not to mention, the large kitchen island can store various kitchen appliances and seat a few bar stools. Owners will love the functionality of the large walk-in pantry. You’ll be thrilled to know that a beautiful range hood comes standard with the home. Additionally, there are two pendant lights over the kitchen island.
The Fireplace Makes A Statement
The main living area has an ideal open-concept layout for entertaining. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are all visible to one another. On the other side of the kitchen, you’ll find a gorgeous fireplace that will make you do a double-take! Not only does the living room have a stunning wrap panel to ceiling fireplace, but it also has lots of natural lighting thanks to the oversized windows. You’ll also love the custom window trim in the family room, as well as the crown molding in the entertainment room and foyer.
A Functional Entertainment Space
The Chandler ll offered a formal dining space near the foyer of the home. Throughout the years, we’ve found that traditional formal dining areas aren’t usually a practical use of space for most of our clients. Instead, the Hillsdale floor plan offers an entertainment room right off the front door! This flex space can be used as an office, formal dining area, playroom, or even a television room. You have the option to have this room built with or without doors. Gorgeous wainscoting comes standard in this room. You’ll love having a multifunctional space that can adapt with your family as your needs change!
You’re Going To Love The Master Suite
You might agree, the master suite can make or break a floor plan! In this case, you’re going to be blown away by the level of detail in the master ensuite. To start, the bedroom is spacious and offers vaulted ceilings with crown molding. The connected private bathroom has a separate tub and shower area as well as a large vanity with double sinks. The under-mount bathtub offers a comfortable place to relax after a long day of work. The frameless heavy duty shower glass offers a modern and clean look. The Hillsdale floor plan offers quite a bit of storage. Not only do homeowners have an unfinished basement space, but they also have a 3-car garage with 8ft doors. Let’s be real, we all have a lot of “stuff” that we accumulate throughout our lives. From trophies to seasonal decor and unused gym equipment, there’s plenty of space to store it all in the Hillsdale floor plan. Yard irrigation does come included with this plan as well as a $1,750 landscape allowance. Furthermore, there is a $3,100 lighting allowance with the purchase of the Hillsdale floor plan.
There’s A Loft Area!
Upstairs, you’ll find a raised loft area. This could be used as an office space, television room, or playroom. If you have children, you’ll love having a designated space for toys and games! Also upstairs you’ll locate three bedrooms. Two of which share a Jack-N-Jill style bathroom. The final bedroom independently has a bathroom with a large vanity and a shower. All of the bedrooms are comparable in size and have walk-in closets.
