Not to mention, a large basement!

One of our homeowners was gracious enough to let us inside to photograph their home. A year after moving into the space, the family is still enjoying the functional design and overall aesthetic appeal. You’ll quickly see why this home is ideal to raise a family in!

At Hearthside Homes, our goal is to create beautiful spaces that allow you to create memories with those you love most. We aren’t just another Kansas City home builder looking to make a quick buck, we genuinely care about creating homes that will be enjoyable to live in for years to come! We have dozens of floorplans our clients can choose from. Whether you’re growing your family or transitioning to being an empty nester, we have a home design that is sure to match your lifestyle!

The Manchester is one of many floorplans that is super family friendly! Here are a few reasons we love this design and why you might want to consider it for your next home!

The Kitchen Is A Dream

Our realtor friends will be the first to tell you the kitchen is always a major selling point to any home. After all, this is the area where all of your friends & family members gather during celebrations and holidays. And, boy! This kitchen was certainly designed for entertaining!

The island is arguably one of the most significant statement pieces in the kitchen. Not only is it beautiful, it’s also highly functional offering a sink, storage, seating and even discreet area for the microwave and dishwasher!

Also in this kitchen, you’ll find plenty of cabinetry storage as well as countertop space for all your appliances! Not to mention, there’s definitely no limit when it comes to design options! As you can see, this homeowner has beautiful light grey cabinets with a chrome hardware. The white geometric backsplash is a fun modern twist on traditional subway tiles. Beautiful charcoal and white speckled granite merges the tones of the cabinetry and tile beautifully! Of course, when you build a home with Hearthside Homes you have hundreds of material selections to choose from, so you can customize the space to your unique liking!

Believe it or not, picking out all of your material selections isn’t as overwhelming as one might think. We can’t speak for other builders, but we make the process as smooth as possible for our homeowners! We’ve been in the business of building homes since 1987, so we’ve had a while to fine-tune this process.

Once you decide to build with Hearthside Homes, we’ll send you to a design center. There, you’ll have a 4-hour meeting to select everything from hardware to flooring and everything in between! Leading industry experts will be there to guide you through the process so that everything you choose creates a cohesive finished look.

The Flow Is Fantastic

Every great house has at least one thing in common, the floorplan has to be awesome! The Manchester design is no exception to this rule. The main floor offers a flex room, powder bathroom, kitchen, and a great room with a fireplace. Additionally, the main floor has a dining area with plenty of natural light, a HUGE pantry and an office area!

The office area is one of the coolest features of the main floor. It sits adjacent to the kitchen and pantry, providing a wide array of functional uses aside from just being a room for your printer. As you can see, this homeowner also uses this space for storage and to tuck away kitchen appliances. There’s even the added bonus option of having a sink!

The pantry itself is over 12 feet deep! Just think about all those Costco runs! You won’t have to worry about running out of space with this amount of storage. Clearly this house was designed to entertain and feed lots of mouths!

The 2nd Floor Is Practical & Functional

Moving upstairs, you’ll discover the master suite complete with it’s own private walk-in closet and bathroom. The bathroom has dual sinks, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower with a seated bench. I mean, come on! Who doesn’t want to have the option of sitting in the shower?!

In addition to the master suite, you’ll find 3 more bedrooms as well as 2 bathrooms. You’ll probably agree, in a house full of people, there’s really no such thing as having too many bathrooms!

The laundry room is strategically placed near all the bedrooms. This feature is extremely practical, as you won’t have to worry about carrying laundry baskets up and down the stairs!

The Storage Is Endless

If you have a lot of “stuff” and are in need of some serious storage space, this house is for you! Not only does this home have tons of cabinetry in the kitchen, an office area and a 3-car garage – it also has a basement! The basement can be finished or not depending on your preferences.

Some people prefer to have their basement unfinished specifically so they have a storage space. Others really enjoy the option of having an additional space to entertain.

Many times our clients call us years later to finish their basement! We understand that as you go through life your needs often change. So if you can’t swing the finished basement now, give us a call in a few years and we’d be happy to help!
